K T Vijayagopal is the Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer of Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL). In this capacity, he is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations with a primary focus on the finance, HR, and marketing departments.
An eminent professional with over 35 years of experience in the energy, engineering, and manufacturing sectors, Vijayagopal has held various leadership positions in both Indian and multinational companies.
In his current role, Vijayagopal monitors and manages all TPL's financial and commercial activities. Prior to this, he served on the boards of Dodsal Engineering and Construction (India) Private Limited, AE&E I.D.E.A (India) Private Limited, AE&E Chennai Works Public Limited, and EDAC Engineering Limited. He has also worked with Cairn Energy, a Scottish company.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Commerce from Madras University
- Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
