Whole-Time Director, EDAC Engineering
B Valavan is a Whole-Time Director at EDAC Engineering Ltd. He is the executive head of the company and is responsible for the successful running of the business.
Valavan has worked with the SPIC Group in various capacities for 39 years. He began his career with SPIC Tuticorin as a management trainee in 1985 and has since held various leadership positions in the Group. During this time, Valavan has spent 15 years in the Middle East, handling major EPC, long-term maintenance contracts, and major turnaround/shutdown contracts.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) from Annamalai University
- Master of Science degree (MS) in Engineering Management from BITS, Pilani
