AM Foundation, the CSR arm of AM International, has made remarkable strides over the past year, creating tangible impacts through its initiatives across healthcare, sanitation, and community development.
Guided by the mission to bridge gaps in essential services for underserved communities, the foundation has stayed committed to its core focus areas: primary healthcare, sanitation, and health awareness.
Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs): A Lifeline for Rural Communities
AM Foundation’s Primary Health Care Centers in Chennai and Tuticorin have become vital resources, serving over 1,76,429 beneficiaries till date. In just three years, AM Foundation has expanded its network of AM-PHCCs from 4 to 18. These centres provide preventive & curative care and maternal & child healthcare services. By addressing healthcare needs locally, the PHCCs empower residents to access high-quality healthcare without long-distance travel.
Nutrition Mix Unit: Building Health at the Core
The newly launched Nutrition Mix Unit addresses malnutrition among vulnerable groups, especially children under five, pregnant women, and the elderly. The Nutrition Mix has positively impacted the lives of over 4,700 individuals, providing essential nutrients for growth and well-being.

Fostering Health and Hygiene through Community Programs
AM Foundation’s health camps have provided critical screenings and treatment, with over 20,700+ beneficiaries at various health camps, including eye, pediatric, and diabetic camps. For instance, 172 individuals were screened in Special Skin Camp and 614 attended a Diabetes Camp. These community programs continue to raise awareness and provide preventive health solutions to thousands.
Sanitation and Infrastructure: Promoting Dignity and Health
As of 2023, AM Foundation constructed 52+ gender-specific sanitation blocks in government schools across Tamil Nadu, benefitting more than 40,000 children.
These facilities have reduced absenteeism, especially among adolescent girls, by providing safe, hygienic conditions. Additionally, the foundation has built Anganwadi centers equipped with classrooms, play areas, and child-friendly toilets, supporting 1,500 community members, including children and mothers.
Aligning with AM International’s Vision for Community Welfare
Through these initiatives, AM Foundation underscores AM International’s commitment to inclusive growth and community welfare, positively impacting the lives of thousands of beneficiaries. By aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) like good health and well-being (SDG 3), clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), and partnerships for the goals (SDG 17), the foundation exemplifies how corporate success and community development can go hand in hand.
As AM Foundation looks ahead, it is set to continue expanding its outreach, bridging essential service gaps and fostering long-term resilience in communities.
